the main character jet is home alone after going to a halloween festival and she’s sitting on her couch when someone attacks her from behind seriously injuring her head.she wakes up in the hospital grateful to be alive when she learns that her head injuries are so bad that she can either have surgery with a 90% mortality rate or she can wait it out and die in about a week. so she decides she not going to go through with the surgery and is going to try to solve her own “murder” before she dies

i’m actually not sure, jet was almost immediately set on not getting the surgery so she didn’t ask any of those questions.

well it’s technically an adult thriller but i think 13+ can read it. honestly i think it really depends on the maturity of the reader because there is quite a bit of swearing and there’s no spice but there is like 2 sexual references. so i think it really just depends on what your book club can handle
