I absolutely love it it’s dark and it shows how far people will go to dehumanize literal humans just for the survival of a select few. It shows the degeneracy of the main character who ‘saves’ one of the people to use for his own sick pleasures. It’s a metaphor for many things and very well written book. Once I started I read it quick. Would read again!

Yes I remember enjoying it i read it a while ago but I rated it 5 stars. If you enjoy dark books and themes it very good :)

the story could’ve been so good but i was not a fan of the writing style at all. i think a lot of that was actually the translation taking all the magic out of the original spanish

Yeah there’s another horror I read that I enjoyed that was translated as well that sometimes did that so I get it
