I honestly hate when authors post like this, and say their book is this troupe or that troupe. Like thanks for letting me know your book is just filled with cliches because now it doesn’t seem appetizing

Yesss exactly, maybe it’s the industry’s fault but social media authors seem to be more concerned with the marketing of their book than the contents/quality
