Also the His Fair Assassin series / trilogy (we don’t talk abt book four shhhh) by Robin LaFevers is wonderful although the fandoms a bit quiet now

Graceling by Kristen Cashore is a gorgeous read if you like fantasy

Also it’s not YA but red rising is also a really good sci-fi dystopian

It leans a bit historical instead of straight up dystopia; but it’s good reading with a great plot, fascinating moral implications, and most importantly broodingly attractive LIs as the genre demands
