
I’d say yes, but keep in mind that it’s not his strongest. You have to hang in there through books 1-2, but 3 is amazing. I also enjoyed the second series. It’s kinda unfair to have to read 2 to get to the good stuff, but it’s well worth it imo, and a lot of people actually like 1-2. I’d also say Stormlight is better and you can definitely start with it (I did) but a lot of people also say mistborn is better cause it’s shorter/simpler
I wouldn’t say elantris is his strongest either, that goes to stormlight by far. I can’t speak to which is technically better between final empire and elantris because it’s so subjective, but I enjoyed elantris way more and am looking forward to the next book in that series more than ghostbloods
Yeah that’s totally fair and i know a lot of others agree too. That’s why I’d recommend new Sanderson readers to start with mistborn or stormlight. I’ve read a lot of long winding series (cough cough WoT) so I’ve read worse pacing. And I think I just knew what I was getting into more with elantris than mistborn. I enjoy both tho and am excited for Sel to return as well
