I'm gonna say it: PJ is overrated and carried by nostalgia. Rereading it for the first time since elementary school makes me realize how wanting it is.

Great series but the fans are cringe. I can’t stand it when people pretend that Greek gods are their parents cause they read Percy Jackson as a kid and made it their whole personality.

Got one of my students to read it today. He said so far it’s better than he thought and he’s gonna finish it over the long weekend!

I don’t know I love it yeah but they really killed of someone who was suppose to be Percy’s equal just saying 🤷🏽‍♂️. Ahhhh but my man Percy he aura farming with that “I just wanted to see how much misery Misery could take”

I have mixed feelings on the series. It’s good and fun… but I also learned the original Greek myths first so it was a bit odd to see all of these creatures and characters millennia later and just vibing
