ppl who die on the hill of ohhh audiobooks aren’t reading need to take a breath and realize that like. you wouldn’t police the language of a wheelchair user and say they can’t say they’re gonna take a walk

What the fuck is this supposed to mean? See this right here is why we can’t have nice things. Who are you to say whether someone NEEDS it or not? And listening is not any lazier than reading. People could instead not consume literature at all. Gatekeepey ass b*tch

Oh so am I “lazy” if I listen because I literally DO NOT HAVE THE TIME to read but I can listen while working? Is that lazy to you? Have you even been outside before? Do you talk to real people, face to face? Do you realize that not everyone’s life if like yours?

Some people just act a certain way and you're one of them like you seem to get offended by what literally anyone has to say

No actually it’s very specific shitty things people say that piss me off, but keep defending ableism with remarks 100% stemming from homophobia.

🫩 brother it's not homophobic to say you listen to an audiobook and you don't read it. Fly back down to reality for your own sake

Since when did gay people get associated with colored hair?? I thought it was more associated with people like you

Whether it was intended to be homophobic or not, you gotta admit it sounds like you’re implying the ‘blue hair and pronouns’ stereotype. It’s not much of a stretch

We have jobs?? And chores, and errands, and families to take care of? For many people, the responsibilities of life can greatly restrict free time for reading a paper book. Audiobooks allow us to enjoy stories in the midst of our commutes and chores. So actually, it’s usually extremely hardworking people who are using audiobooks.
