This might be a hot take but I hate when someone recommends me a book but it’s part of a larger series which they DONT MENTION and then I can’t get access to the rest of the books. Also not a big fan of fantasy. With that in mind does anyone have recs 😭

In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. It follows the murders of an infamous case in Kansas. Really puts you in the mind of the killers(that’s because Capote interview them before they were sent to death row!)

are there any specific genres you do like? not fantasy is still pretty broad, i can make some recs but they’d be better if i knew the kind of books you enjoy

ooo yes this was a good book. it’s also my favorite type of nonfiction, which is the kind that reads like fiction lol
