How good is the shatter me books? I’m trying to decide between starting that or starting the fourth wing book

I have not read shatter me but I gave up on fourth wing about 200 pages in. Just boring

I didn’t like them. However, I would have liked it if I was a lot younger. All the characters just seemed whiny and immature to me

Both of those series are honestly not good. But I would say Shatter Me is much better than Fourth Wing.

I loved them in middle school but haven’t touched them since so don’t know how they hold up. It was originally a finished trilogy tho and I remember trying and dnfing the next book when it came out. This could either be a decline in quality after the first three or I had just already grown out of them

Personally it was confusing to read at first bc I tend to read everything and the scratched out wording confused me. But it’s not a completely terrible terrible read

But I mean, it’s YA so

That’s fair. I’m just now hearing about it getting adapted on screen so I wanted to see what the hype was about. I feel like the YA genre is so apparent and there’s not much books about college or even midlife
