But, my biggest problem with the book is the characters. They aren’t annoying or bad or anything like that. It’s just, for me, they didn’t really have a memorable personality. The magic system is pretty interesting, but nothing special imo. The book does deal with visions of the future, and some timey wimey stuff, which does open some interesting thoughts on free will, and how people cope with that. Overall, it wasn’t the most gripping read for me, and I did feel that a few points were rushed,

Or had some deus ex machina to it. Thats just my opinion though! I do feel that it is a book worth reading, and I hope that I can rate the next books higher. (Also, should I start adding a little blurb about the plot of the book? I want to avoid spoilers, so idk)
