You might like Inheritance by Nora Roberts! It’s a trilogy, I’m only in the first book but it has romance and a bit of thriller! It’s about a woman who inherited a mansion filled with mostly kind ghosts and one “evil” ghost!

You might like Heavenbreaker by Sara Wolff I think? Space mechs and doomed relationships, plus the writing style is really cool
