I know it’s very hated but I must confess that sometimes I do like the pregnancy trope. It can be really cute seeing a couple come together after an accidental pregnancy. Seeing men step up and lovingly support their pregnant partners makes me swoon

I like it unless the fmc has clearly stated that she doesn’t want to be pregnant/be a mom prior and suddenly does a 180° in the book. Makes me feel icky

Yeah that’s why I only like it sometimes. It’s gotta be the good combo of enthusiastic/consenting birthing parent plus supportive/understanding non-birthing parent
