idkk… it just got really boring and nothing was happening. i like banter, but that’s ALL it was. like, kai and pae didn’t have a normal conversation. everything was banter. and going into it i didn’t know it was a love triangle and i absolutely hate love triangles. I felt like it was dragging along and nothing was really happening… i read more than half of it and only stayed that long for kai, but even that was getting lowk annoying. i went in wanting to love it but it just wasn’t for me.

yeah i totally get that. i really enjoyed it but i think sometimes the constant banter can be annoying. also i wished the plot and action could take over more of the book, however i still think it’s a good book for people who like romance/fantasy books with no spice 🫶🏻
