an easy thing to forget in the midst of trauma, adrenaline rush, hunger/thirst, sleep deprivation, etc

Then after clove’s death, Katniss is thinking about all the alive tributes and says that fox face is smaller than her and has no weapons unless she had found some in the time that she last saw her. But Katniss saw her pick up the knife blade? Katniss should’ve known she had a knife at least?

Idk it’s just very out of character for her, cause if it was immediately after the explosion maybe, but it was the next day and she had commented on how smart fox face was in that scene
