Otherwise I hate books with “book boyfriends” specifically books where the mmc’s only real motivation is the fmc. The man is basically a yes man for the main character and he’s immediately obsessed with her. Basically Rhysand, Xaden, Alex Volkov, etc.

Honestly this goes for any overly perfect character who loses all their individual thoughts, motivations and personality when they fall in love.
