Is it bad that I’ve made a list of problematic authors and what they’ve done? Because it’s lowkey fun getting this info even if it is simultaneously so disappointing

Nah, you work hard for your money and it’s your right as a consumer to catalog people/companies you don’t want to support

Pierce Brown should be in here for being pro oppressor. He’s posted Zionist shit AND got all uppity about recommending people read Henry Kissinger’s books.

I see people calling Rebecca Yarros a Zionist a lot but what exactly did she do for people to say that? I know her book got a Hebrew translation but that was a publishing decision that’s not on her.

No problem! I’ll keep expanding it because unfortunately shitty behavior doesn’t stop. And yeah I also found it hilarious when I was compiling the list. “This person was rude to people who gave their book a bad review! And this one KILLED PEOPLE??” Either way, shit behavior puts them on the naughty list. Also, some of this is just alleged behavior, but some is public/well-known (like JKR)

Yeah, the number of murders is WILD. By the way: Danielle Lori is hardcore MAGA, LJ Shen is also a bully, and K. Webster has that weird 18-year age gap in that Cinderella trilogy.

I feel like Brandon Sanderson has evolved in his views though. One cannot really fault someone for past beliefs if they didn’t really know any better and that’s how they were raised. The important part is that they educated themselves and changed for the better
