If you’re okay with romantasy type of books, I liked Caraval and the cruel prince (but the cruel prince isn’t just centered on romance, there’s also other things)

I’m not a huge fan of romance but will read it as long as it’s not TOO cheesy, & mystery is okay as long as it’s not full of gore 😭

And the cruel prince does have some death, but I don’t think any are really descriptive
