Gotta go plot, I love books with huge worlds and casts of characters. I’ve yet to find one where I love all the characters/povs equally, in some cases it’s only the plot that gives me cause and motivation to keep going. Theres always that one pov that has you flipping pages to see how much longer you have to deal with them lol

for me it’s books that discuss difficult or heavy topics through its characters. it’s why i tend to adore dark academia. they always have something to say that makes the reader think society and through the lens of different character povs.

I like good characters too, but plot 100%. Even if I hate a character (or worse, I have no feelings toward them) if the plot is good enough I’ll probably still finish the book to see what happens
