Lolita is the only book I can think of that’s close in tone, but if you’re interested in double-life plots, I would recommend The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I haven’t read it yet, but I’ve heard also heard that Perfume by Patrick Süskind is similar.
