Any specific preferences or tropes? And closed or open door romance?

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I feel like I’ve got a good starting point now.

Romance.io website has a book search for romances and you can specify the level of spice 🔥 that is in your books. Also mangas are usually really chill on spice (unless it’s an erotica/ecchi). So you can look into those too

Emily Henry for sure. super fun couple dynamics, and it’s always a good time. maybe start with funny story, or people we meet on vacation?

Searched it up, I think I’d probably prefer closed door. No need to jump into the deep end off the start lol. I don’t have any preference for tropes either. Just looking for my first read in the genre. Any recommendations help.

For just starting the genre I’d recommend books by Emily Henry, Christina Lauren, Bal Khabra, or Sarah Adams. These authors tend toward clean romcomish romances. I’m also a big Ali Hazelwood fan but that’s also because I’m a STEM girlie who appreciates the science in her books, not necessarily her writing.
