I’d go Kobo tbh because I don’t trust Amazon to not fuck with my books. If you buy kindle books through Amazon, you don’t own them and they can change or delete them without your knowledge or consent, and in this political climate that’s not a risk I’m willing to take

it’s pretty okay, you’re able to transfer your digital library books onto there which can be convenient. i just go in phases of reading on it and not touching it for MONTHS because of how limited i feel without the subscription and not buying books full price. but i think it depends on your reading lifestyle to determine how good of an investment it would be for you
