Some kindles have settings that work better for reading under bright lights and sun sometimes. Like a non reflective, non lit surface. That’s about it. I use my kindle on vacations only, and my kindle phone app for any other time.

It looks much more like a real book, less eye strain, longer battery life, no opportunity for distractions, smaller and lighter, doesn't overheat... I love my kindle so much

The screen is so much more eye-friendly (no blue light) that makes it worth it imo

Personally, my kindle doesn’t make my eyes as tired as my phone or iPad screen does. I just find it a little easier to read on for long periods.
