I’m new to Sanderson but from my research, the only real spoilers for mistborn era 1 are in mistborn era 2. Way of kings and his standalones are often cited as good places to start so you should be good. You might just miss out on Easter eggs is all

I’ve read Way of Kings, Warbreaker, and I’ve just started reading Words of Radiance, and I can definitely say that none of those have any spoilers, as far as I know. Other standalones, you might meet a few recurring characters (again, idk) but you shouldn’t get spoiled

Absolutely, it’s only the most recent books that are starting to connect to each other in a more meaningful way. Elantris, emperors soul, warbreaker, tress, and I’d say stormlight 1-4 are perfectly fine and anything that shows up is more of an Easter egg that’ll make sense later than a plot point. I would stay away from isles of the emberdark, sunlit man, wind and truth, and obviously mistborn era two tho
