I got this book from HPB years ago, but I’ve been nervous to start it because I know it’s a series and I don’t want to buy anything else from/support one of the authors

I LOVE THIS BOOK. NOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT ENOUGH!!

Give it like 60 quick pages to build up the story and BOOM you’ll be hooked. Plus the re-readability is amazing

I believe Jay Kristoff did some questionable things but I forget what it was. Idk I read some problematic authors still ( including him), I just get the books from the library instead
