I haven’t checked these out but I read the Riley bloom series (same author, but it’s about the sister of The Immortals fmc!) it was more middle grade and I read it a while ago, but I was obsessed and then really upset at the ending 😭

I liked the first one but the next couple pissed me off so much when I was in my teens that I quit the series. I get tired of “omg we can’t be together because x” when it’s dumb reasons and the same recycled struggle again and again.
