You're right, reading for fun is totally fine, I'll track back the intellectual comment. My point is purely about the parallel, both groups are chasing the exact same low-effort gratification loop. Just an observation, people can do what they want 🤷‍♂️

I was unfamiliar with the previous discourse in the community lol I just read through one of the threads, I see now why you had that sentiment originally 😭 I'm not trying to do the weird gender war thing. My point was just that hyper-fixating on one niche, especially the low effort recycled smut tropes and self-help bs, is inherently anti-intellectual. But people have the right to just read for fun and not care about that. Just making an observation.

Lmao sorry babe I don’t mean your argument is circular itself I mean that the arguing just goes in a circle. Someone brings is smut, someone replies that it’s their choice, someone compares it to porn, someone replies that it’s fiction, etc etc. I don’t mean circular like the fallacy, just circular as in it happens over and over and over
