This is not a knock on the writers or people who like these books, I read my fair share of fanfiction. I think it's because I've been reading fanfic for a long time, and I've realized what I like and don't like. So it feels very strange to see women older than me go through something I experienced 12 yrs ago. Like, you all deserve better writing and better stories
