I wanted to major in English so bad 😭 I regret dropping it as a second major. I always almost get on here and ask English majors for their reading lists just so I can study them on my own

As a certified English major two books I had to read for my major and enjoyed were Frankenstein and Giovanni’s Room! Had to read short stories too and one collection in particular I liked was Her Body and Other Parties: Stories by Carmen Maria Machado

Absolutely! I love reading and writing, so it’s kind of the perfect major. It’s also a plus that I get to read actual books instead of textbooks
