Haven’t listened to it, but my take based on the trailers (and the fact that it’s “wuthering heights”) is that it’s going to be a sort of satirical take on the book about a woman fantasizing herself as a self insert with her crush. And Fennel is known for adding these girly touches so idk it fits her brand imo

(doesn’t mean I’m not upset about the whitewashing though. I do think WH was a poor choice if this was the direction she was planning on going unless it’s also a critique of people romanticizing and whitewashing and aging up Catherine throughout history)
