On the contrary, I know people who skim through physical books or only read dialogue. Furthermore, plenty of people (including myself) do sit down and give audiobooks their full attention. You can’t judge a person’s engagement with a book purely from the medium. Just because you don’t pay attention to audiobooks doesn’t mean all other people are not focusing on them.
