Deep end is slightly different than the rest of her books as far as all the themes included. Ali Hazelwood books didn’t start out as her seriously trying to become a renowned author. She’s an academic. So her original books reflect the silly fun outlet she was creating for herself

Hm so I should just stop reading her books? I honestly think i just liked deep end bc of the mc’s, I haven’t rlly loved any of the characters in her other books

As someone who deeply loves her books, I’m aware she’s not for everyone and if it’s just not working for you especially with her first few books I wouldn’t force it.
