Hi guys I have a quick question for y’all. I have a reading disability and needed “no fear Shakespeare” to read any of his works. Does anyone know is something like that exists for Homer or Plato’s works? I like what I’ve read of them but it’s hard-
You could try to find sparknotes summaries of the texts. It helps me when I can’t comprehend what’s happening in older texts, and breaks down the plot point by point

idk what no fear Shakespeare is tbh, but for old classics like that, I feel like “homer reading guide” or just googling “most accessible way to read Homer” or something would worn

I would try finding a YouTube video on getting into classical books for beginners. They usually recommend a book on Homer or Plato that is translated in an easy to read way. I’ll check those videos for you later today!

-for me to keep track and understand what they’re saying even after multiple reads. The only one I fully understood without reading too many times was the story of the cave and that’s because it was talked about in a class I had

I know they’re both considered not easy reads so I figured something like “no fear Shakespeare” would exist for them but I couldn’t find anything when I was looking online and idk if it’s how I worded my questions to google
