Currently reading Utopia by Sir Thomas More- the first third was so fucking tedious to get through, now it’s getting a little better but still soooo many unnecessary words. Any advice on how to enjoy long-winded old (1500s) texts like this?

I've been reading The Origins of Totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt, which is a fairly long and dense work of political philosophy, and what has helped me a ton is just setting a goal of how many pages to read each day. I've been reading 10 pages a day and I've been getting through it faster than before when I would read more pages in one sitting but then I would get burnt out and not open the book for a while.
