I could usually tell when a woman is written by a man when I see the author’s name on the front and then see there’s a woman in the book

(this post was about Artemis by Andy Weir and the book is fine, the action is finally picking up and it was very hard to put down last night but Jazz was so clearly written by a man 😭)

and it’s not bad it’s more so little things like ‘unlike the earth gals” or “you wouldn’t think a girl could” Jazz is otherwise very fun as a character with her own complexities
