It’s basically just a book tracking app. I think it’s pretty simple to use but there are other ones out there like Fable and Storygraph

i prefer storygraph and fable but goodreads still works well for keeping track of your reading, & the community aspect is pretty good

It’s fun if you like reading people’s reviews/ratings and keeping track of your own reads. It also allows you to find other readers who have similar tastes to yours so you can find new things to check out

I have taken to Fable which is also a book app. I’m still in the works of learning how using it. But you can join book clubs. It keeps your streak how many days in a row you read. A monthly recap. It’s very cutesy.
