LOVE DIVINE RIVALS DUOLOGY. Idk if you have seen my polls letting intuition pick my next read but the last poll won ross’s the elements of cadence duology. if you end up loving divine rivals and ruthless vows i highly recommend the duology.

crying over book is a ALWAYS in a good way- if it’s terrible then there’s zero emotion to be felt except maybe laughter at how bad it is… but no this book is painful in the best way

As someone who doesn’t like sad books I don’t think I can agree. If it makes you shed a few tears okay but if it has you sobbing it’s going in the stay the hell away pile.

i actually never thought of it that way but you’re completely valid. personally i have a lot of respect for any book that makes me care deeply so if it has me sobbing then ive def found a book that impacts me- but if you don’t like sad books then i totally get where you’re coming from

for the book itself- i’d say it’s more shed a few tears than full on sobbing
