Books are better!! Tyson has a hard time at first but everyone really appreciates him by the end so don’t let that deter you

The books are EONS better. The movies are fun but the books have humor, depth and tons of content the movies never will. The show is flat to me and the movies were more for fun than actual storytelling. Have fun reading!!!

The books are much better, plus the series continues so you’ll have more of the world to keep consuming if you enjoy the books- it won’t hurt to try the first book! also recommend the lost hero series if u want more

If you mean like The Lightning Thief and Sea of Monsters movies and not the TV show, read the books they’re infinitely better. I haven’t watched the show, so I can’t compare that. The movies were god awful though

I watched the movies before i read any of the books or knew of the story/plot of the books and I enjoyed the movies a lot but before season 1 of the show came out I started the reading the series. I will say I enjoy the books more and think for the story of percy jackson they are better ofc, but I still really enjoy the movies (even tho they aren’t super accurate or good per se). I kind of view the movies as a different story/plot from the books and view the show as the same story as the books
