Someone please explain to me the fourth wing hate 😭 this was the book series that got me into reading so it will always have a place in my heart but I feel like everyone on this thread hates it

It’s just not well written or original at all. Plus the publisher is super problematic in their publishing practices. I get people like it but some refuse to acknowledge the bad parts. Like Acotar got me back into reading but I acknowledge the writing and characters are honestly awful.

They find the fmc annoying, which I also do, however I love the books

I think the hate stems from a loud minority. The series has done super well so far. Some people let a little questionable writing ruin it all for them

Yah I can definitely see some of the bad parts but it allowed me to find my love for reading so I’m still gonna support it. It’s just interesting to so much hate for it here

It definitely has done well, but considering the average adult doesn’t read above a 5th grade reading level, the writing isn’t noticeable to most people. At least people are reading. Doesn’t make the quality of the book better though. I’m just upset because I went into it really wanting to like it, and super excited. But even with all the chances I gave it, I ended up super disappointed ☹️

Perhaps it’s just the top 1% of readers that continuously notice the issues or something like that
