I personally enjoyed both the show and the books but they are pretty different! Id recommend that if you do read it, try to separate it from the show

I read The Deal in January last year, it was a really quick read for me but I didn't love the writing style and some things felt very cringy. But if you can get past that I'm sure you'd enjoy it!
