I don’t think this is a generalized opinion. Especially considering that it is usually people who actually have lives and are busy that utilize audiobooks during their commutes and downtime vs someone who is “lazy”. I miss dearly the times when I could be lazy around the house all day reading books tbh.

The physical book vs audio book argument is puritanical af and doesnt allow people to have fun. I like reading and l like being read to. They are both fun activites l fit into my life as needed. Its a thing to do not a way of life.
