I’m probably calling myslef out on this but I like “My Youth Romantic Comedy is as wrong as I expected” light novels. I’ve seen the anime and have read the first 2 volumes. It’s great and I personally think it’s one of the best intricate pieces of romantic literature.

What genres do you normally read? It’s easier, I think, to ease into romance with what you already read. Like if you read fantasy maybe trying romantasy- there’s almost always a romance+any genre book. If you’re wanting just contemporary romance recs, def have an idea of what you’re looking for (like spice levels- you want erotica, closed door (no on page sex scenes), 1-2 sex scenes, none at all, etc.).
