This isn’t really a new feat. I’ve been annoyed with half baked romance in male written fantasy for years.

Eh I don’t particularly mind unless it’s clearly badly done. Sometimes it can be cute. Besides, it’s not a new thing at all. It’s a thing with most books in general as far as I know
