if you haven’t read Miller’s other book Circe you definitely should! it’s just as good as Song of Achilles

i did the same thing! if you’re interested in the fantasy aspects, the moral questions, and all the sadness, i’d recommend looking into RF Kuang’s books like Babel and The Poppy War. i’ve been obsessed with her work recently
