Have you ever tried Academy for Liars? It’s a dark academia fantasy romance. I personally didn’t love the romance aspect (not a fan of the trope, not the writing), and the world building is fun

If you want one that’s actually really well written, An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir is really really good. Also, Crier’s War by Nina Varela had me in a chokehold
