I haven’t! So far I’ve pieced together that *spoilers for the readers* Damaya and Syen are the same person, not sure about Essun. And Alabaster is definitely the one who split the stillness in the prologue

the alabaster part took me way too long to figure out lol. also i love syen’s pov so much it really does make it seem like she’s a different character

After Antimony saved them from the guardian I went back to read it. First it was the man being able to sess voices, then talking to the stone eater, then it was him reaching up for power (the obelisk) that confirmed it. I wonder what happened to Syen though in that time

And as far as Syen and Damaya I wasn’t entirely sure until Syen mentioned the blanket that Damaya gets in the beginning
