I think that that she tends to be blind to her own privilege more often than not, and likes to victimize herself in her storylines. However her discussions of racism and sexism as a whole are fantastic.

I don’t hate her as an author or a person, and tbh I haven’t really gotten any racist vibes from her. I was just expecting something different from her books by the way people praised them so much. Her books have mature themes but are written very ya and I’m just not looking for that right now or at the time when I read them. Disliking the books and hating the author are two different things

Most of the “anti-woke” crowd that you speak of can’t ever give valid criticism of her work and you can always tell.

I would like to politely disagree, I found that a lot of her self inserts gloss over her own wealth and privilege. But we could argue over it until the cows come home.
