I’ve only read TMI and the clockwork series and it doesn’t REALLY matter, but I’d read in publication order

There’s a reading order where you pause TMI to read the clockwork series before (city of angels? either the ultimate or penultimate one, I forget) so you can appreciate a character cameo, but I don’t think that’s necessary either
