What’s a book that you’ve been recommended a lot and just simply do not like? For me it’s this absolute bastard of a 1,000+ page sleeping pill. I don’t even dislike David Foster Wallace’s work in general, just specifically Infinite Jest.

Fourth Wing was recommended to me so many times and when I tell you it was actually the worst writing I’ve ever witnessed

Everyone was raving about Throne of Glass and I read the first book and it was probably one of the worst things I’ve ever read

An acquaintance of mine told me she was planning on naming her future child after a character in this series… I think only middle name, but still… I wanted to try to talk her out of it but I don’t know her that well so I know it’s not my place, but damn that kids going to have a rough middle name
