The way I used to be
It honestly made me sick and I had to read a book immediately after to feel better.
But honestly, I read a lot of books by Ellen Hopkins in my youth and they made me sick from crying.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. The book is a lot more soul wrecking than the movie in my opinion.

Mayday by Karen Harrington. I have no idea why that book made me cry that hard.

It was extremely triggering but honestly so accurate. The only thing that made me as upset was The Poppy War.
