Am I still valid as a romance reader even if I have to skip over certain sex scenes sometimes? Because I feel like a lot of romance readers like it for the smut (and that’s valid) but sometimes I just can’t do certain kinds of sex scenes

I love it because it’s an easy read, something I can kinda turn my brain off for between heavy books. There’s an overarching plot that moves time throughout the different related series that I enjoyed, revisiting old characters in later books was fun, like little epilogues and peeks into their lives after each personal book. It’s not for everyone but I’m not the type to dissect every book like it’s a literary classic.

O my one was difficult for me to get through just because I didn’t like the main girl, took months to force myself to read it but every other book I could finish in a day, maybe 2
